My Go to Summer Products!

As summer comes to a close, I wanted to recap a makeup routine with some fresh and glowy products that saved this busy mom of 3 with only ten minutes to gather myself accordingly :) Whether you’re going for a natural look or a glam one, these products will help you achieve your desired look and keep your skin looking flawless.

Step 1: Prep your skin

Before applying any makeup, it’s important to prep your skin with a good moisturizer and sunscreen. You can also use a primer to smooth out your pores and create a smooth base for your makeup. I recommend the Refy face primer, which is a lightweight and hydrating primer that blurs imperfections and gives your skin a radiant glow.

Step 2: Apply foundation and concealer

For a natural and dewy finish, try the Elf liquid halo foundation, which is a medium-coverage foundation that melts into your skin and gives you a luminous complexion. It also has SPF 15 to protect your skin from the sun.

To conceal any dark circles, blemishes, or redness, use the Too faced Born this way concealer, which is a full-coverage concealer that blends seamlessly and lasts all day. It also has coconut water, alpine rose, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and brighten your skin.

Step 3: Sculpt and highlight

To add some dimension and definition to your face, use the Makeup by Mario sculpting stick, which is a dual-ended cream contour and highlight stick that glides on easily and blends effortlessly. Use the contour side to sculpt your cheekbones, jawline, nose, and forehead.

Step 4: Fill in your brows

Brows are an essential part of any makeup look, so make sure you fill them in with the right products. For a natural and fluffy look, use the Revolution Brow pen, which is a micro-fine brow pen that mimics hair-like strokes and fills in any sparse areas. Then, set them in place with the Too faced eyebrow gel, which is a clear brow gel that shapes and tames your brows without making them crunchy or flaky.

Step 5: Apply eyeshadow (optional)

For the eyes, you’ll need a versatile eyeshadow palette that can create different looks for different occasions. I suggest the Too faced hot chocolate eyeshadow pallet, which is a 16-pan palette that features matte, shimmer, and metallic shades in warm neutrals, pinks, and browns. You can create anything from a soft daytime look to a sultry smokey eye with this palette.

To make your eyeshadow pop and last longer, you can also use an eyeshadow stick as a base. The Bobbi brown eyeshadow stick is a creamy and pigmented eyeshadow stick that glides on smoothly and stays put for hours. You can choose from various shades that suit your skin tone and eye color.

Step 6: Apply mascara

To finish off your eye look, you’ll need a good mascara that adds volume, length, and curl to your lashes. The Tarte lights camera lashes mascara is one of my favorites, as it delivers four-in-one benefits with just one swipe. It also conditions your lashes with olive esters and doesn’t smudge or flake throughout the day.

Step 7: Set everything with a spray

The last step is to set everything with a setting spray that locks in your makeup and refreshes your skin. The Patrick star setting spray is light and non-sticky formula that sets full beat makeup with next-level hold for up to 16 hours. Featuring texture-solving ingredients to absorb oil and help tighten pores, the spray keeps the glam locked in with a blurred, flawless matte finish

And there you have it! A summer makeup look using some of the best products on the market. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and found it helpful. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
